Stiletto

In the Revista miNatura´s issue number 98, you can find my short story named “Hunger“. I hope you like it.

The Central Goverment have just informed us that the latest entry of Ratest 815 has turned out defective. It should be withdrawed from circulation as soon as possible, however, it´s too late. In my sector, we´ve been the first ones in vaccinating and we´re finding out the side effects last two days. This new testosterone mutation stock is more virulent everyday. The hunger for the flesh is doing away with us. The neighbours are eating alive one another. There is no children or elderly people left, they were the first ones to be eaten shortly after the vaccination. In the streets, there are truly slaughters. Civil Security Team has just arrived in the sector and they didn´t miss any minute and they are subduing all the people. This will be another ghost sector soon. I must confess that I did the right thing hiding here, in the hospital Mary Magdalene, the sinners shelter. In the morgue I will have food enough.
